New text label standards! We are now changing all text labels in the parking trace file from Open Sans Regular to Open Sans Semi Bold unless specified otherwise in the Client Customization Guide. The Create Text Labels script has been updated to now add in the Unit Labels reflecting this change. You can download the updated script and font here. For Storage maps the only change will be for amenities going from Opens Sans Regular to Open Sans Semi Bold. The storage unit labels will stay Open Sans Bold.

Updates

Utilize the Storage Checklist when creating a map
For storage maps we need to keep a 3 size text hierarchy when making the map. This is part of the storage standard that we can not deter from.
For lockers on storage maps - Locker Layers should not be created, all lockers should be combined in with the rest of the floor
When arranging units within the storage building, do not overlap the units. You can adjust the size of the unitls that will overlap so that they fit within the occupied space.
Double check the CCG in the custom forms. We are getting a handful of maps where the wrong CCG is being applied to the storage map. </aside>
Check the framing of the map against Google’s Earth Pro’s Satellite view. If necessary parts of the property have been cut off, reframe the map to ensure they are included.
